About Deb Drew Brown
At the age of eight, I took pictures with my Brownie camera; back then, my photos were in black and white but for the most part, I prefer color, lots of color. I have always loved photography and love to experiment with textures and materials on which to print; the choices are endless.
I used to call myself a “nature photographer” but since the first ArtPrize competition in Grand Rapids that I entered in 2010, I have become fascinated with architecture, more than I ever thought I could. Grand Rapids is one of many cities that offer an abundant array of angles, shapes and reflections to photograph and I have really enjoyed doing just that.
